This Directory is for the use and subscription for individuals in the business community in the Tees Valley region aged 39 years or under.

1.2

Registration is free of charge as is the use of the Directory. Registration is required to use the Directory. During registration you will be required to submit a profile and to provide a user name and password. Following your submission to become a member of the TVYPN, you will receive an email within 48 hours providing confirmation when you are appointed a member of the TVYPN.

Objective

2.1

The concept of the TVPYN is to enhance business relations, cross-marketing and to provide social interaction in the Tees Valley area.

2.2

The Directory is not open for abuse; it must not be used as a marketing database; it must not be used by people outside the TVYPN and the Directory must not be transferred or exploited under any circumstances.

The type of information we will collect about you include your name, date of birth, email address, interests, occupation and company details.

We gather this information to allow us to process your registration. The information is then used by us to register you as a member of the TVYPN and to communicate with you on any event which the TVYPN is to co-ordinate.

We may also use information and statistics for the purpose of monitoring website usage in order to help us develop the website and our services and may provide such information to third parties.

From time to time we may provide your information to other members of the TVYPN to allow them to know who is attending events, and to external third parties who may host future events.

We may also be required to release information to our potential sponsors and to our bank.

The internet is not a secure medium, however we have put in place various security procedures to prevent unlawful processing and against its accidental loss, destruction or damage.
